Isis Dallis Joins Climate Nexus as New Executive Director

Climate Nexus, a US-based nonprofit strategic communications firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Isis Dallis as our new Executive Director. 

“We are delighted to announce this appointment,” said Heather Grady, Vice President of Rockefeller Philanthropy Advisors. “Isis will bring fresh energy and perspective to the organization’s mission and her leadership will be critical in guiding Climate Nexus during this next exciting stage of building a just, equitable world.”  

Isis has over 20 years of experience in building teams, leading companies, and transforming organizational cultures as an accomplished brand strategist, communications professional, and executive leader. 

She worked most recently as Managing Partner of award-winning social impact consultancy and certified B Corp Matter Unlimited, and carries a deep commitment to climate action, solutions, and justice. She is a fierce advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in the workplace. Her thought leadership has been featured in renowned publications such as Fast Company and Quartz where she provides thought-provoking analysis and commentary on the intersections of culture, business, and social impact. 

Isis is also a Climate Reality Leadership Corps member and a fellow at Terra.do. She holds dual degrees in Sociology and African and African American Studies and Certification in Markets and Management Studies from Duke University.

“Climate Nexus has been at the forefront of climate communications for over a decade, and has built a team and network of some of the brightest, bravest, and most passionate individuals and funders in the climate movement,” said Isis Dallis, “As we face the climate emergency, it will require all of us to bring our newest and best ideas, creativity, courage and political will to the fight for just, equitable and effective climate mitigation, adaptation, and resilience. I am honored and humbled to lead Climate Nexus into this next, most critical, decade for climate action.”

Climate Nexus co-founder Robert Tanner will serve as Senior Advisor during the transition period. Starting in 2012, Bob successfully conceived, shaped, and executed the Climate Nexus team’s leadership of a transformative shift in the global climate movement. “I’m so proud of all that our team has accomplished together and looking forward to seeing what they will achieve,” said Robert Tanner.
