International Actions

For climate change to be truly and meaningfully addressed, it's going to take international cooperation.

The UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is an international treaty produced at the Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit in 1992, and as part of the treaty, countries meet at an annual Conference of Parties (COP) to plan for climate adaptation and mitigation. The next (and 23nd) COP is taking place this November in Bonn, Germany. For more on the UNFCCC process, visit The Road Through Paris.
